The RRWC has a variety of fellowship clubs that are open to all members. These clubs are truly a wonderful way to really get to know other members in smaller, more casual atmosphere. Here are a few more details about each of them…
The Book Club meets 10 times throughout the year approximately every 6 weeks. Meetings are Monday nights at 7:30pm at different members’ homes. There is no commitment to come to every meeting, just drop in when you can…even if you haven’t finished the book! We will go through a list of questions about each book, but it’s not too serious. Topics of conversation usually drift off course. In November, the book list for the year is voted on by the Book Club members from a list of titles that members have suggested.
The Euchre Card Club is open to all members and their spouses/partners. The Euchre Club meets every other month starting in January and ending in August. Each member will host one evening with three other members and their partners as guests. This allows two card games to be played at the same time. The evening usually lasts from 7:00pm to 10:00pm on an evening of the hostess’ choice. The hostess is responsible for providing the beverages, and each guest brings an appetizer or snack.
Potluck Dinner Club
The Potluck Dinner Club is open to all members and their spouses/partners. Potluck Club meets once every two months starting in January and ending in August (approximately 4 times). Each member will take a turn hosting a dinner with three other members (and their spouses or a guest) attending. The hostess will provide the main meal, while the guests bring an appetizer, salad or dessert to share. Dinners are usually held on a weekend night of the hostess’ choice. This is a great way to meet new friends in a very casual, relaxed atmosphere! If you are unable to commit to 4 dinners, just let the fellowship chair know when you sign up.
In the past we have also had a tennis club, stitching club, and scrapbooking club. These clubs depend on the interest of the current members and can always be brought back!
